Tapping, one of the most common machining operations, can be streamlined with quicker setups using this Tap and Drill Bit Rack. Each tap-drill hole is engraved with the size bit needed for the respective tap. Holds two of each SAE standard fractional inch taps from #10 to ½ inch, both fine and coarse. The middle row can be used for spares, bottoming taps, or specials. Made from a 2 by 12 inch length of Nylon and can be set on a bench top or screwed to a vertical surface using the predrilled holes. Place one at any drill press, mill, or lathe where tapping is done.
